Median Home Prices Increase in Western Washington

Everyone knows that the real estate market has taken a serious hit over the last few years. Good news, however, finally appears to be on the horizon.

According to a report from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS), home prices in Western Washington actually went up 1.27%. Individually, Pierce and King counties still experienced a modest drop in price (1.54%), but it appears that blue skies are finally on the horizon!

Many buyers have been adamant about waiting for prices to bottom out in order to get the most house for the least amount of money. While it is impossible to see the bottom until you’re on your way back up from it, these latest reports show that our home prices are practically there now.

Whether you’re looking for a primary residence, rental property, or a vacation home, right now is truly a fantastic time to begin your search. Contact Jeff Stobie today to receive more information on the local market and just what it has to offer.
